The study for this project would be focusing on the entire corridor which is elevated above the ground, starting from the star ferry pier bridge all the way up to the central mid level, to discover the intensity of pedestrians and the overlaying of different kinds of functions, get into the exploration of the interrelationship between the pedestrian movemnt and the life in the city. Then we are asked to create collages. The concept on this collage is to look at the condition on the lives underneath the brige more in-depth. The main intention is to focuses on the ‘local side’ of that certain part of area, the environment, living condition, human activities that happen along the path, which reflects more of the unique and ‘localised’ side of Hong Kong. Another focuses is on the users who are walking by this street, all types of users like local residents, tourists, kids etc.
